This Morning fans fume and say its too early as Christmas tree pops up in ITV studio

This Morning viewers have been left fuming after spotting a Christmas tree in the studio – despite it only being early November.

Every year there’s a debate on just how early is too early to get the decorations out, with celebrities like Katherine Ryan opting toput the tree up the moment Halloween is over, while others prefer to wait closer to the big day.

The This Morning team seem to have made the decision that Christmas starts in early November as hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were seen presenting the start of Wednesday 3 November’s show in full view of a giant Christmas tree.

Holly wore a black and white polka dot dress while presenting the show, while her co-host wore a navy blue shirt and black trousers. Both hosts could be seen wearing a red poppy for Remembrance Day.

However, fans were far more interested in the Christmas tree behind them, taking to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One viewer wrote on Twitter: “Far too early for Christmas tree, only just November. Haven’t even had Remembrance Day yet.”

Another person asked: “Why is there a Christmas tree on #ThisMorning”.

A third person wrote: “Not the Christmas tree already up #ThisMorning”.

While another enraged watcher wrote: “It’s barely November. F*** off with Christmas already”.

Just two days ago, Holly and Phil appeared on the show in Halloween costumes, shocking fans with their Adams Family makeover.

However, Holly and Phil aren’t the only stars getting into the Christmas spirit early.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed that comedian Katherine Ryan had already put her Christmas decorations up when she posted a photo with her family the day after Halloween.

The star took to her Instagram feed on 1 November to share the snap – which sees daughter Violet, 13, who she has from a previous relationship, and her partner Bobby Kootstra, 38.

Just one day after Halloween, it appears Katherine has hung up her Christmas decorations as gold tinsel can be seen hugging the frame of a mirror behind her.

A silver balloon display appears to say 'Merry Christmas' and fairy lights run down the wall as well – adding to the festive feeling of the season.

"Christmas really does start the day after Halloween nicely done!" one fan commented on the picture alongside a crying with laughter emoji.
