Tommy Cannon grew emotional during an appearance on This Morning on Friday, as he paid tribute to his late pal Bobby Ball.
The 76-year-old comedian died on Wednesday, October 28, after a brief battle with Covid-19.
Speaking with hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, Tommy said he would never get over Bobby's passing, as he fought back tears.
The comic said: "A big chunk of me is gone. I don't think I'll ever get over it."
Tommy recalled the last time he saw his old friend, saying: "We last worked on the ninth of this month and he seemed okay. I didn’t know anything was wrong really.
"And then on the Saturday he was taken into hospital and that's where he stayed."
Emotional over the news, he added: "I don’t know, suddenly, he just passed away."
