What is the release date of Riches?
While ITV announced Riches over a year ago, the show still does not have a release date.
However, casting is well underway, with Amazon Studios making several recent announcements.
This would put it on track for a mid to late 2022 release window.
Of course, this all depends on when filming on the series will actually begin, but it is highly likely viewers will get to see the series next year.
Who is in the cast of Riches?
The cast for the show looks complete, with Amazon Studios making two recent announcements.
Stephen star Hugh Quarshie as Stephen Richards and Them’s Deborah Ayorinde are the most recent additions.
Downton Abbey’s Brendan Coyle and Luther’s Hermione Norris, along with Temple’s Adeyinka Akinrinade.
Ola Orebiyi, C.J. Beckford, Nneka Okoye, and Emmanuel Imani round out the cast.
The stars have been attached to specific roles, though more details on who they will all be playing will likely follow soon.
Is there a trailer for Riches?
Currently, there is no trailer for the series, as filming is yet to begin on the show.
Once filming commences, the trailer will follow shortly afterward.
Based on the schedules the show is at currently, viewers should expect the first trailer to drop early to mid-2022.

What is the plot of Riches?
Riches will tell a tale that spans both New York and London, with the series being compared to HBO’s Succession.
It will follow Stephen Richards (played by Hugh Quarshie), a self-made millionaire who suffers a stroke.
Following his stroke, all his family’s secrets come back to haunt him, sending the future of his cosmetics business into doubt.
Thrown in the mix are the children from his two previous marriages, making the future of the company even more complex.
The show as been written by Abby Ajayi, the screenwriter behind How To Get Away With Murder.
Speaking to Deadline, the writer called the show a “love letter to Black London.”
She added that it has been “thrilling to create the Richards family and celebrate their opulence, ambition and immigrant grit.”
Riches will likely air on ITV in 2022.
