Our Girl series four first look shows Michelle Keegan dazzling in bridesmaid dress in her final season

Our Girl actress Michelle Keegan looks stunning as she wears a blue silk bridesmaids dress in scenes of her final season of the popular BBC drama, which is set to kick off on Tuesday 24 March.

The 32 year old actress, who stars as Georgie Lane on the BBC drama, can be seen smiling and applauding while clutching a bouquet as her friend Marie, played by Linzey Cocker ties the knot with Fingers, played by Sean Ward.

The first look shots give an alternative glimpse of Georgie, as viewers will be familiar with seeing her in military uniform.

After the ceremony, Georgie is seen in an intense conversation with Platoon Sergeant Kingy, played by Rolan Bell, who is known for keeping Georgie’s unit in line.

Meanwhile, further snapshots show Michelle aka Georgie back in her uniform as continues her role of training soldiers in the UK.

One image shows Georgie in tears as she continues to struggle with the grief of the death of her fiancé Captain Elvis Harte, who was killed by warlord Omar.

Despite her emotional difficulty, the fourth season will see a novice medic, played by Amy-Leigh Hickman, convince Georgie to return to Afghanistan, despite her PTSD, and she is mobilised back to the country.

Her latest tour of Afghanistan appears to be dangerous as a local hospital is targeted by Omar and Georgie is tasked with training up new recruits.

Georgie continues to struggle with her grief as she emotionally admits in the trailer: “I just keep being reminded of Elvis, I don’t think I can do this anymore.”

However, Georgie's fate is unknown, as actress Michelle announced her decision to leave the show after the fourth series.

Sharing the news in January, she explained: “I've had the most incredible four years on the show and I want to thank the BBC for giving me such an amazing opportunity.

“Playing Georgie has been a life changing role for me. I’ve loved every second of the adventure so it was a very hard decision to make not to return.”

She added to The Sun: “I feel it is the right time to explore other exciting opportunities but I’m so happy to be part of the new series coming soon so it’s not the end just yet.”

Michelle’s decision comes after her husband, former TOWIE star Mark Wright, made the move to come back home from Los Angeles where he was working on US TV.
