Abi Franklin (Sally Carman) is on the receiving end of some harsh words from Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) in Coronation Street next week, as he berates her for being so cruel to Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson).

Abi, as viewers will know, is struggling to live on the same street as Kelly, who she holds responsible for the death of her son Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni).

Kelly did not murder Seb, nor did she take part in the assault, but she did slap Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) during the evening in question, and thus Abi has struggled to cope with the fact that she’s been set free from prison.

It’s been a tough few months for Kelly, who found herself having to leave her accommodation, before ultimately ending up on the streets.

Aadi, however, fought with dad Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) to let her stay with them, much to Abi’s dismay.

But next week, things take a turn, and Kelly is soon left homeless once more. So when Abi pops into the corner shop, Aadi wastes little time in telling her how he really feels.

‘I know you’ve been through a lot,’ he says, ‘but Kelly is back on the streets because of you! If something happens, how will you feel?

Abi is nonchalant about the whole thing, prompting Aadi to reveal that Kelly has started using drugs.

‘If I thought I’d drive someone to that, I wouldn’t be able to live with myself,’ he concluded.

Abi claims she will [live with herself] just fine, but it’s clear that she’s struggling to come to terms with the young lad’s revelation.

Will she stop terrorising Kelly before it’s too late?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Tuesday December 28 on ITV.
