Married At First Sight Australia season six originally aired back in 2019 Down Under and fans in the UK are just catching up. The quirky dating series sees romance experts couple up individuals based on different criteria, before they have even met. Express.co.uk has all you need to know about what happened to season six star, Mark Scrivens.
Where is Mark from MAFSA now?
Mark Scrivens was a 42-year-old Army veteran from Melbourne when he joined the cast of the dating series.
He was matched with Ning Surasiang, a hairdresser from Queensland who was 10 years younger.
They spent their honeymoon in Bangkok but sadly did not continue with their marriage afterwards.
Ning was keen to continue with the relationship but during their vows, Mark broke up with her.
He said he had been unable to find love with her, although he had strong feelings for her.
He added: “I don’t see these feelings being strong enough to survive for you after this experiment ends.”
Ning had three children and Mark said he did not want her to have to drop it all for him.
Ning did not take the news well and threw her vows on the floor, before leaving in tears.
Mark is on Instagram and he is now the owner of the Freelancer Cafe in St Kilda.
The former reality star has since found love elsewhere and he is in a new relationship with Bianca Chatfield.
His first photo with his new partner was uploaded on Instagram in September 2019, so they have been together for a while.
The caption said: “When I walk beside her, I am a better man,” and fans went on to congratulate Mark on his new romance.
Bianca is a former netball star and she featured in the 2018 season of The Block.
One of his latest photos of the pair was uploaded in February 2021 and one fan said: “Come on, Mark! Give the people what they want. Propose already.”
Another said: “Such a cool guy, glad you’ve found happiness love the show, but boy ohh boy you had it tough. Glad it’s all worked out for you in the end.”

The star’s page still has photos of his time on MAFSA from April 2019 and he seems to have made amends with Ning.
He said he was happy to have been able to share the experience with her and he was a “better person” following their time together.
After they broke up, he shared a photo of himself with Ning on a fishing trip, saying: “As difficult as the previous week has been, I’d like to leave this experiment on a good note.
“This is one of my favourite photos from our time together, even covered in fish oil, dehydrated from spending an hour reeling this big fella in the 50 degree heat, sweating profusely, we still managed to smile which is what we did best.”
He has continued to speak highly of Ning ever since and the pair seem to be good friends.
Since leaving the series, he and Bianca have been touring Tasmania and they have been sharing plenty of updates.
Fans have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on Mark while he was on the series.
One said: “Catching up on Married at First Sight and I’m actually loving Ning and Mark now. They’re so cute. #MAFS.”
His break-up with Ning was one of the most memorable moments from the season and Australian fans still remember it to this day.
