Love Island hit a completely different level last week as Faye Winter and Teddy Soares hit a rocky patch. The pair came to blows after footage from Teddy's time in Casa Amor led Faye to believe he'd been dishonest.
The pair's explosive bust up has been a dominant storyline over the last week or so and Teddy's family have finally addressed everything in a revealing Q&A session.
Taking questions from fans on Instagram, the family opened up about what they really thought of the situation, explaining that they "don't agree" with how Faye behaved but reminded viewers that we not shown the entirety of every situation."
A fan asked: "How are Teddy's family feeling about the way Faye treated him?"
To which, his family responded: "We have to bear in mind, we're not shown the entirety of every situation. Yes we don't agree with how Faye reacted but if her apology was genuine then we see potential growth."
They continued: "We are happy Teddy conducted himself as a true gentleman would."

Faye and Teddy reunited earlier this week after Faye apologised to the 26 year old Finance Consultant.
One fan suggested that Teddy "forgave Faye well too easy" and asked his nearest and dearest if they thought he was a "pushover"
They responded: "You can't knock a man down for fighting for what he loves. Teddy was trying to understand what Faye's reason was for being triggered.
The answer continued: "He felt he stayed true to himself at Casa Amor and he wanted Faye to understand that. Teddy is not here for drama, he's here for love."

The finale of Love Island is fast approaching and the couples will soon be let out into the real world and have to meet their other half's friends and family.
One viewer asked: "Will Teddy's family accept Faye when they meet after everything?"
Those looking after his account said: "We haven't seen everything. We've only seen one hour episodes that are tailored for entertainment. Teddy's family would accept and support anyone that makes him happy."
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
