Love Island has been pushed back for the second time in a week with Sunday's show airing at a later time due to England taking on Italy in the final of the Euro 2020 football tournament.

The ITV2 dating show usually airs at 9pm but Sunday's episode will be shown at 10pm instead, finishing at 11pm — an hour later than it usually does.

The final of the Euro 2020 football tournament is scheduled to air on ITV from 6.30pm to 11.05pm with kick-off at 8pm, allowing fans to watch both without missing out on the action – as long as it doesn't go to extra time and penalties.

This is the second time in a week Love Island's usual scheduling has been impacted by the Euro 2020 football tournament.

Wednesday's episode was also delayed to 10pm due to England's dramatic victory against Denmark in the semi-final of the Euro 2020 football tournament.

Elsewhere, Love Island is set for some exciting developments with new boy Teddy Soares entering the villa on Friday's episode.

Speaking ahead of his debut, he said: "I want to get to know all of the girls. I’m not afraid to step on toes to get the girl I want.”

Teddy is a 26-year-old financial consultant from Manchester, with his Linkedin saying he “arranges straight forward funding solutions for Professional and Corporate businesses across the UK.”

Talking about himself, he said: "I’m cuddly, caring and all my friends, when they have an issue, they call me and confide in me.

"I’m always that person to lean on. I think I’m going to add that element with the boys."

He also believes he’s ready to settle down in his quest for love as he said: “I think I’m ready for love now.

“Law of attraction is probably what I believe in, so being in the villa is part of that thought process.

“I’m not getting any younger. I’ve always been the type of guy to be in long relationships. Never broken three years though.

“If I do find someone in the villa, I’m going to take it seriously.”

Last night’s episode of the show saw tensions rising as Chloe admitted to having a soft spot for Toby, who recently decided to commit to seeing how things go with partner Kaz.

Kaz called Chloe a “snake in the grass” after the blonde kissed him during the challenge, while Toby spoke to the boys about his feelings for Kaz, admitting there was “no sexual attraction” to her.

Toby ended up telling Kaz he wanted to get to know Chloe before the pair went to the balcony for a chat, with the pair then sharing a kiss.

Love Island airs on Friday night at 9pm on ITV2 with Sunday's show at 10pm.
