Kate Garraway returns to GMB and addresses absence and illness fears

Kate Garraway made her return to ITV's Good Morning Britain on Thursday as she addressed her several weeks away from the programme.

The 53-year-old broadcast journalist had not been "very well" and so she spoke to ITV chiefs who agreed that she could take some "holiday" to recoup.

After updating on her absence, co-star Ben wanted to know how Kate's husband Derek Draper had been doing, following a lengthy battle with Covid-19.
