Inside James Corden's incredible £7.5m home with pool table and cinema room as he quits the Late Late Show

JAMES Corden's stunning £7.5million Los Angeles mansion has been his home while he hosted The Late Late Show, a role he announced he would be leaving next year.

The TV star, 43, confirmed the news yesterday, revealing he plans to
give up the coveted American telly role in summer 2023.

James lives in the five-bedroom, eight-bathroom home with his wife Julia and their children Max, 11, Carey, seven, and four-year-old Charlotte.

The couple moved in to the 8,609 square feet, cream rendered mansion in late 2017, about halfway through James' successful tenure as The Late Late Show host.

His homein the exclusive suburb of Brentwood sits on a sprawling 20,000 square foot estate with a swimming pool spa, fire pit and built-in barbecue entertaining area.

Other features of the grand abode include, timeless architecture, with large front and rear gardens.

The huge wooden front door opens onto a grand foyer and wide staircase leading to the upper floor.

Described by estate agents as "a New England Traditional set behind gates" and a "charming English home and garden," the house also includes a renovated lounge and formal dining room, both with fireplaces.

They room are decorated with dark wooden floors, spotless white walls and floor to ceiling blue curtains.

Bookworms would love wood panelled library and film buffs could take a load off in the cinema room.

The games room features a large TV in front of two leather couches and an impressive pool table.

While the bathrooms are decorated with white marble, and the master ensuite featuring a spa bath under french windows to give the room a spacious feeling.

A 'Great Room' in the mansion features a cook's kitchen, breakfast area and family room.

That room opens up with French doors open to the private garden, with a trellis covered patio and dining pergola.

Described as one of Hollywood's most desirable neighbourhoods some James' famous neighbours have included, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cindy Crawford, Harrison Ford and Steven Spielberg.

The Late Late Show with James Corden comedian shocked the entertainment world this week by stepping down from his eponymous TV show.

James fought back tears as he explained to US viewers why he has decided to step down from the hosting gig.

He filmed a video which was released ahead of Thursday night’s
show and he became emotional as he talked about his decision to only do one more year on the series.

James said: “Seven and a half years ago, I started hosting this show.
And there is no other way to put it, it has changed my life. I love it.

"I love all the people that work here. I am so proud of what we've
achieved. It's been beyond my wildest, wildest dreams. So I'm happy to announce today that I've signed a new contract, to carry on hosting The Late Late Show.

"When I started this journey, it was always going to be just that. It
was going to be a journey, an adventure. I never saw it as my final
destination, you know?

“And I never want this show to overstay its welcome in any way. I always want to love making it. And I really think in a year from now that will be a good time to move on and see what else might be out there."

He stressed that he still has “a year to go” but
fought back tears as he talked about walking away.

He went on: “We are all determined to make this the best year we have ever had making this show. We are going to go out with a bang."

James took over from Craig Ferguson on the CBS late night series in
March 2015 and has been in the driving seat for the last seven years.

The High Wycombe-raised star has yet to confirm plans for after his exit and admits he hasn’t decided whether he will be returning to the UK with his wife Julia and their children Max, 11, Carey, seven, and four-year-old Charlotte.

Speaking to, he said they "genuinely don't know" if they
will be heading back to Britain when his contract runs out.

James added: “It’s something we think about and we talk about a lot but we haven’t really made a decision on that yet. That’s the life side of things which we’ll figure out."
