Harry Potter star is unrecognisable 19 years after Chamber of Secrets – but can you guess who it is?

THE stars of Harry Potter are all grown up as they look back on the past twenty years since the films first hit our screens.

One actor looks completely different from his role as the Dark Wizard in the franchise's sophomore film, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

Christian Coulson was one of three actors to play the young Voldemort and was the first character to play a 16-year-old version of the evil character already getting up to no good in Hogwarts.

He was 22 years old when he made a floppy-haired appearance in the Chamber of Secrets.

These days Christian, now 43, looks as dapper as ever, and since 2010 he has lived in New York working as an actor and director.

Born in Manchester, he studied at Cambridge as he acting career began to take off.

Some of his other film credits include The Hours and in TV he was seen in Nashville, High Fidelity and Mozart in the Jungle among other titles.

The Chamber of Secrets released in 2002 sees Harry return for his second year at Hogwarts but a mysterious Chamber of Secrets has been opened at the school

Messages penned in blood are found around the corridors. And an evil creature, the basilisk, is terrorising the school.

Harry, along with Ron and Hermione’s find out how to enter the chamber after discovering that Voldemort had previously opened it.

Other actors to play a young Voldemort include, Hero Fiennes-Tiffin, the real-life nephew of Ralph Fiennes who plays the infamous villain in the Harry Potter films.

He played the creepy eleven-year-old in the Half-Blood Prince back when he was living in an orphanage and had yet to experience the wizarding world.

Hero, now 21, has continued to act and recently made use of his handsome looks in the new film After.

Finally, the third young Voldemort star is Frank Dillane, who is also still an actor – notably in Fear The Walking Dead.

The actor appeared at a later stage of the Half-Blood Prince as the 16-year-old baddie and also returned in the Deathly Hallows.

Frank has grown up into a heartthrob but has revealed he will never forget his roots.

The star – whose dad plays Stannis Baratheon in Game Of Thrones – told Radio Times in 2016: "It's funny. Whatever I do, I'll always be remembered for Tom Riddle!

"It was great to play such an incredible part, but it was a very short scene. I wasn't in the film for that long."
