Gogglebox legend Tom Malone Jr has taken to Twitter to hit out at Love Island star Brad McClelland.

The TV regular posted a series of tweets on Monday night as the latest episode of ITV's dating show aired.

During the episode, a recoupling took place, with the boys getting to pick which of the girls they coupled up with.

In a savage tweet, Tom mocked Brad for claiming until Lucinda arrived there hasn't been a girl for him… despite laying it on thick with each of the bombshells.

Tom tweeted: "Brad says there has been nobody for him after telling every girl that’s walked in that they’re exactly his type."

He signed off the post with a face-palming hand emoji.

Tom later added to fans he was 'gutted' that Teddy picked Faye over Rachel.

The decision meant that Rachel was the latest islander to be sent home.

Hinting he would have picked Rachel over Faye, the star penned: "I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed with Teddy’s decision. #LoveIsland."

Earlier this year Tom quit Gogglebox after moving out of the Malone family home to live with his girlfriend.

According to reports, the professional dancer could net £175,000 in the first 12 months of leaving the show thanks to his popularity.

A study by EST1897 has revealed he could be in line for a major payday thanks to his social media presence.

The data calculated that the professional dancer could net £54,000 via his Instagram account alone thanks to his 262,000 followers.

Meanwhile, Tom's TikTok account, which boasts a further 704,000 followers, could make him around £3,400 per sponsored post.

Tom used to let his mum and dad appear in his TikTok clips – much to his fans' delight.

However, Daily Star revealed last year how bosses at Channel 4 were concerned he was becoming too much of a star.

Producers were worried the normality of the show could be spoilt if the Gogglebox stars became celebs.

Reading out a question from a fan on a now deleted Instagram live, Tom said: "Will you do anymore TikToks dancing with your dad, I love them?"

He bluntly added: "No, Gogglebox won't let me anymore."

Confirming his plans to leave the show, Tom said in a statement: "So after six years it's finally time to put down the remote and say goodbye to Gogglebox.

"I've loved every minute and I'm eternally grateful to Channel 4 and Studio Lambert for allowing me to be a part of the show.

"But new opportunities are knocking on the door and it's time to explore them.

"I look forward to enjoying the show as a viewer and not having to worry about having said something stupid!"
