Ex EastEnders star Melissa Suffield defends decision to post picture of her baby's POO after she's slammed

EX-EASTENDERS star Melissa Suffield has hit back a critics after she shared a photograph of her newborn baby's poo.

Melissa, 26, snapped the picture while changing son River's nappy and commented on how his excrement appeared to be heart-shaped.

River was also covered in baby sick and had done a wee the minute she had removed his nappy.

Melissa, who played Lucy Beale in the BBC1 soap, captioned her shot: "Out of nappy wee. Heart shaped poo. Epic chunder to celebrate milk coming in cluster feeding day."

But although the blonde actress was amused by the snap, not all her followers were.

Later, the new mum shared a reply she had received, which asked: "Why would you post this?"

Hitting back, Melissa blasted: "Erm, because it's hilarious in quite a bleak world right now.

"Also, because this is real life. Also, p*ss off."

Melissa then went one stage further and invited her followers to send her examples of "hilarious photos" they had taken of their kids.

But she made it clear she didn't want to see the actual snaps themselves.

Melissa said: "I now really want more examples of everyone's hilarious photos.

"You don't have to send me the photos but if you can describe what happened in the disgusting moment, and send it to me, and I'll share some good ones, cos oh that made me laugh!"

Melissa and her fiancé Robert Brendan, 37, welcomed River into the world on March 16.

Announcing their happy news on Instagram, Melissa wrote: "River Jefferson Carter-Robinson. 16.03.2020.

“What a perfect little human we appear to have made. We could not be more obsessed with you.”
