Emmerdale's Cathy Hope makes shock plan to cure her devastating health condition | The Sun

CATHY Hope has hinted at making a shocking plan to help her deal with the effects of her devastating health condition.

The Emmerdale teen has faced a hard week as she was diagnosed with PMDD, which explains the emotional swings she has been having.

After discovering one of the only cures for the condition is having a full hysterectomy, she told her dad she wanted to go ahead with the operation.

However, Bob was totally against the idea and shut down any further discussion of it.

Now the girl has confided in her friend April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) about a new plan – and this one is even riskier.

Cathy has history with Samson Dingle (Sam Hall), as the pair shared a brief romance before he slept with Amelia Spencer.

When Amelia discovered she was pregnant Samson cruelly dumped Cathy, saying his feelings for her had never been genuine.

He also went on to be a terrible father to baby Esther, initially refusing to be a part of her life, and then blackmailing Amelia's new boyfriend into paying him in exchange for spending time with his daughter.

But Cathy never got over him, and now he is showing an interest in her again.

With the couple finally planning a date it becomes clear that Cathy may be planning to use the boy to get pregnant, which would temporarily put an end to her monthly suffering.
