EASTENDERS star Clair Norris has revealed she’s already finished filming her second job after making the decision to take a break from the soap.
The actress, 23, who is best known for playing Bernie Taylor on the BBC show, excitedly shared a short boomerang of herself on set yesterday.
She told her followers: “Filming for job two finished!”
Clair is taking a break from the soap and viewers will see her leave in upcoming weeks as a part of a major storyline.
Bernie makes the decision to go and stay with her brother Keanu as she struggles with being a surrogate.
Viewers have watched as she has become increasingly concerned about handing over the baby to Rainie and Stuart Highway.
Recovering drug addict Rainie has been behaving dangerously erratic since ex Max took baby Abi away with him.
She had threatened the Carters over Linda's secret about Max being their new baby's biological father.
Rainie even went as far as the plaster the Square in posters saying Max was the father – and in retaliation Mick Carter told the Taylors that Rainie was using drugs again.
It sparked a bitter confrontation between Mick and Stuart – with the former agreeing to say it was a mistake as long as Rainie left them alone.
The confrontation saw the Carters flee the Square, though it has been made clear that his first lies were still believed.
Bernie is terrified of handing the child over and demands a drugs test from a horrified Rainie, which comes back negative.
Speaking about her exit, Clair said: "I think that Bernie is overwhelmed with everything and definitely needs some time away to clear her head. She needs a break. I think it will do her good to get away and take care of herself and the baby for a bit. That's her number one priority.
"We know Bernie will be returning to Walford, but who knows what she will be coming back to? She knows how much this is going to hurt Stuart and Rainie, but Bernie is determined to put the baby first."
