EastEnders spoilers: Callum Highway to break up with Ben Mitchell after cruel betrayal

EastEnders’ Ben Mitchell (played by Max Bowden) has suffered from hearing problems ever since he was a child but the recent tragic boat accident caused some lasting damage. The Arches owner is surrounded by loved ones who have been trying to help him through this difficult time but, Ben is refusing to accept the doctor’s advice and is understandably scared that a possible operation won’t work.

When Callum was finally discovered, Ben was forced to admit how much his hearing had deteriorated and accepted he needed to have an operation.

In upcoming scenes, Ben struggles with his loss of hearing and brushes off Callum’s suggestion of learning sign language.
