Celebrity Gogglebox star Chris Eubank Jr's reveals 'rough ride' since brother's shock death as he fights in his memory

CHRIS Eubank Jr has admitted he's had a "tough ride" since his brother's shock death.

The Celebrity Gogglebox star was left devastated when Sebastian Eubank – the third eldest of former boxing champ Chris Eubank Snr's five children – was found dead on a beach in the UAE.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain today ahead of his next fight, the 32-year-old boxer said he "doesn't know how" his brother's tragic death will affect him in the ring.

"It's been tough," he said.

"I've never dealt with anything like this in my life.

"i don't know how it will affect me in the ring, losing such a close family member.

"It's been a rough ride.

"I am dedicating this fight to my brother. i'll have his name on my shorts and bring his son Raheem into the ring afterwards. He was a great soul.

"We will continue to do everything in his name."

Asked what his younger brother was like, Chris added: "He was an awesome human being.

"He was righteous and true always helping people. He always told me don't do things for you, do them for other people. That will always stay with me."

In July, 29-year-old Sebastian's friends and family paid tribute to the "loved" and "respected" boxer.

He had became a dad for the first time just one month before his death, and was making a life for himself in the UEA where he lived with his wife Salma and son Raheem.

His dad Chris Eubank Sr hailed his "loved" son a "deep thinker" who was "loved and respected by all who knew him".

"Never did I ever imagine I would write these words or experience the feeling I now have at the loss of my son," he said.

"My family and I are devastated to hear of the death of Sebastian just days before what would have been his 30th birthday.

“He leaves his wife Salma, his son Raheem born just a month ago, his mother Karron Meadows, brothers Nathanael, Chris, Jr, Joseph, one sister Emily and countless relatives and friends.

“Sebastian grew up in Hove in England but in the last few years made his life in Dubai where he had a wide circle of friends and was a leader in the adoption of a healthy lifestyle and of alternative therapies."

Eubank Sr said his son had been working as a personal trainer and professional boxer.

He was known to incorporate swimming into his training regime and had previously posted about his love for the sport.

In 2016, Sebastian told how he swam 1km a day to help his stamina, strength and endurance, while videos on his Instagram show his talent in the water.
