Cardi B set to amend divorce filing to share custody of daughter Kulture with Offset

RAPPER Cardi B is set to amend her divorce filing from husband Offset, a new report has revealed.

The WAP hitmaker filed her petition for divorce yesterday in Fulton County Superior Court in Georgia.

And now sources have claimed that she's isn't happy with her lawyer's filing and wants a "super amicable" split from the Migos star, who is yet to respond to the petition.

According to TMZ, the Bodak Yellow rapper had no idea her attorney had filed documents for legal custody and primary physical custody of their daughter Kulture, two, nor for child support.

Sources told the publication: "Cardi did not know the lawyer was positioning her case this way. She wants Offset to have joint custody of Kulture and is determined to have an amicable, co-parenting situation.

"She does not want any support from Offset in the financial department, she's the Bank of Cardi."

Those close to the music star have said that she is in touch with her lawyer and "the document will be amended to reflect her wishes."

The latest twist in their divorce proceeding comes after she admitted their relationship had "a lot of drama" following alleged "years of cheating."

The rapper gave a glimpse into the former couple's marital problems when she was featured on the September cover of ELLE.

Before filing for divorce on Tuesday, she told the publication: "There's always rumors about me and my husband, and I feel like people would rather start rumors because they want me to be heartbroken.

The rapper continued: "They want me to be hurt. I do know that my relationship has a lot of drama and everything. But there's a lot of love, there's a lot of passion, there's a lot of trust, there's a big friendship. It's always us against the world."

The Sun confirmed that Cardi filed in Fulton County Superior Court in Georgia on September 15.

Court documents are for Belcalis Almanzar v. Kiari Cephus, with the filing noting that it is a contested divorce.

Cardi, 27 and Offset, 28, have a 30-day conference on November 4 at 10am.

Only days before filing, the rapper posted a cryptic quote to her Instagram Story that read: "Her heart finally told her to stop wasting her time."

She added the caption: "It’s time."

Cardi, and Migos' rapper Offset – real name Kiari Cephus – wed in 2017.

They share daughter Kulture, who was born in July 2018 while Offset is also the father to Jordan, 10, Kody, five, and Kalea, four.

The split follows previous allegations made about Offset's infidelity.

In January 2018, Cardi confirmed that Offset was involved in a sex tape cheating scandal following rumors of a video that caught him with another woman in December 2017.

According to PEOPLE, Cardi wrote in a now deleted tweet: "No, it’s not right for a [n***a] to cheat…But what you want me to do? Go f**k me another n***a? Start all over again and get cheated on again?

"This sh** happens to everyone and I be too, you too…People handle they relationship different soo."

The revelation came just three months after the couple tied the knot.

She later addressed the situation and explained why she chose to stay with Offset during an interview with Cosmopolitan in February 2018.

She told the magazine: "I know I look good, I know I'm rich, I know I'm talented. I know I could get any man I want — any basketball player, football player. But I want to work out my s*** with my man, and I don't got to explain why."

Cardi continued: "I'm not your property. This is my life … I'm going to take my time, and I'm going to decide on my decision/ It's not right, what he f***ing did — but people don't know what I did, 'cause I ain't no angel."
