A Place In The Sun's Laura Hamilton mortified as she's forced to hide breastmilk stains during filming

LAURA Hamilton went back to filming A Place In The Sun just weeks after giving birth and it lead to a breast milk mishap.

The A Place in the Sun host, 38, opened up about how just three weeks after giving birth she returned to work and struggled to cover up her leaking breast milk.

The telly presenter, had to then fill in show bosses as to what was happening because she could no longer hide the stains on her dress.

“I’ve been a part of the show for nine years now, and it’s been an incredible journey," she told Scott McGlynn on his podcast, Celebrity Skin Talk.

“I travelled with my daughter when she was three-weeks old and I was filming. I went back to work and I was breastfeeding.

"And on camera, I had to say to the director ‘my left boob is about to start leaking milk’.

“And it did. And for the rest of the section, I had to cover my boobs with my arms to try and hide it.”

Hamilton is mum to Rocco, seven, and Tahlia, five, and has hosted the popular Channel 4 show which helps couple relocate to new homes abroad.

The blonde beauty who is married to Alex Goward is keeping busy while in lockdown, not only homeschooling her children but recently launching a new series on Instagram’s IGTV.

Birds with Baggage is a “twice weekly, fun, entertaining show” which she presents with her drag queen pal La Voix.

She admitted juggling work and homeschooling while managing her autoimmune disease was "tough".

The presenter, 38, said she was in the best shape of her life when she started to notice more bruises then normal.

She noticed it when her youngest daughter Tahlia, was about seven months old – so she initially blamed it on having young children.

"When Tahlia was about seven months old, I was due to drive to Portugal to film a fitness app, but a few days before I was due to go I started noticing all this bruising coming out on my legs," she told The Mirror.

"At first I wondered if the bruises might have been caused by my diet. I was always someone who bruised quite easily anyway, but it was more than normal."

But she eventually went to a doctor who diagnosed her with the condition.
