Lt. Ryan Graves, an ex-official, said in an interview he saw “unidentified vessels” flying off the coast of Virginia every day for two years beginning in 2019. It comes ahead of the Pentagon’s report in “unidentified aerial phenomena” releasing next month.
The former naval lieutenant appeared on CBS’ 60 Minutes, sharing he is “worried” about UFOs.
He told the programme: “I am worried, frankly. You know, if these were tactical jets from another country that were hanging out up there, it would be a massive issue.
“But because it looks slightly different, we’re not willing to actually look at the problem in the face.
“We’re happy to just ignore that these are out there, watching us every day.”
Repeating suggestions from other experts, Lt. Graves theorised the UFOs he sighted could be a secret US technology, enemy surveillance devices or something else completely.
He said: “This is a difficult one to explain.
“You have rotation, you have high altitudes. You have propulsion, right?
“I don’t know. I don’t know what it is, frankly. I would say, you know, the highest probability is it’s a threat observation program.”
Cristina Gomez, host of Paradigm Shifts UFO Channel on YouTube, told the Daily Star earlier this month the Pentagon’s report could be dangerous if it confirms the existence of alien technology on Earth.
However, she also expects the US would not give “full disclosure” if the report finds extra-terrestrials, suggesting the Pentagon would likely describe any UAPs as “suspected foreign adversary drone technologies, rather than mentioning them as having an ‘Off-World’ origin”.
She added: “If a government was to acquire concrete evidence that these craft that are flying in our skies and travelling in our oceans are originating from one or more extra-terrestrial civilisations, it would be entirely prudent of them to investigate whether or not they represented an existential threat to us as a species.
“And this I imagine would be the very first pressing concern they would have regarding the presence of such visitors to our world.
“I can imagine then that the entire subject would receive the very highest security classification during that investigative process.”
It comes after Jeremy Corbell, investigative filmmaker, shared another video from US Navy personnel which showed “spherical” UFOs off the coast of San Diego.
The clip, taken by Crew from the USS Omaha on July 15, 2019, showed the object making a controlled descent into the ocean.
One of the pair exclaimed “wow, it splashed” after it disappeared into waters off San Diego.
The UFO hovered above for an extended period, as revealed by the clip.
