Sainsbury’s introduces new Nectar Card points boost – and you can claim today

Are you trying to save money in lockdown?

The good news is that Sainsbury's customers can claim more points on their Nectar Card if they log onto the app.

It is a one-off points promotion from the supermarket giant and it can be done from today (Thursday).

On the app, it said: "A one off points boost. Get more bonus points by saving your regular Sainsbury's offer before your next shop."

Customers can click on the points boost promotion when they open the app and will instantly receive the free points.

Some have received up to 1,000 points for free, while others claimed an eye-watering 400.

If you can't see the offer when you log onto your account, you may need to update it.

The Nectar app is available to download for free on iPhone and Android devices.

It's never been easier to collect your points on the Nectar Card app.

Customers can also opt into weekly offers and make sure to get the best deals quickly and easily.

The supermarket also has a Groceries app where customers can shop on the go from any device.

It allows shoppers to browse and search for products to see all the supermarket's special offers.

The app even enables loyal customers to make changes to their orders too.

In other Sainsbury's news, the store launched a Tu Clothing sale online with up to 50% off womenswear.

The 50% off sale is available to shop now on the official website with discounts available on selected lines while stocks last.

Shoppers can also find the clothing deals on the Argos website, but items are selling out fast.

And you can get free £184 to spend at Sainsbury's or Argos with an Amex card trick.

Shoppers must spend £3,000 in the first three months to trigger this, but you shouldn't use it as an excuse to overspend.
