    But standing in their way is La Liga high-flyers Real Sociedad and a familiar face who United know well enough from their city rivals.

    Manchester City legend David Silva plays for La Reales, and the 35-year-old has featured 17 times across all competitions.

    Silva isn't the only familiar face, ex-United academy graduate Adnan Januzaj plays for Sociedad as well.

    United are having a good season under Solskjaer, they're sat second in the Premier League, they're also into the Quarter-Finals of the FA Cup, and they're looking to go the distance in the Europa League.

    Revenge will be on the Red Devils' minds, with the team being knocked in the Semi-Finals of the Europa League last season by eventual winners Sevilla.

    In terms of team news, Solskjaer has called up academy youngsters Shola Shoretire and Amad Diallo.

    Solskjaer spoke about the importance of having players to rotate when playing on Thursdays and Sundays.
