Queen ‘quits Palace’ and is whisked to Windsor over coronavirus fears

The Queen has quit Buckingham Palace over coronavirus fears, according to reports.

It is said the 93-year-old monarch was today whisked to Windsor Castle for her safety.

Daily Mirror has contacted Buckingham Palace.

But it is understood plans are now in place to quarantine the Queen and Prince Philip, 98, if the outbreak worsens.

A royal source said: "She is in good health but it was thought best to move her. A lot of her staff are a bit panicky over coronavirus.

“The Palace hosts a constant stream of visitors including politicians and dignitaries from around the world."
