Phillip Schofield’s daughter in heartfelt message to mum amid ‘difficult’ time

Phillip Schofield's daughter Molly has shared a sweet message about mum Stephanie Lowe.

Stephanie was branded "a queen" on International Women's Day by her daughter – just weeks after she supported the This Morning star coming out.

Molly, 27, took to Instagram on Sunday to share a heartfelt photo and caption.

The two blondes were seen in matching black dresses as they smiled at the camera.

Molly captioned the post: "Happy #internationalwomensday To my QUEEN."

Stephanie has supported Phillip, 57, ever since he announced he was gay last month, however admitted it had been "difficult" for their family.

Phillip bravely revealed he was gay last month as Stephanie – who has been married to the TV host for 26 years – vowed to stand by him.

In an interview with The Sun on Sunday following Phil's announcement on This Morning, Steph, 56, said: "I love Phillip, as much today as I ever have, and always will.”

The couple married in 1993 and share two daughters – Molly, and Ruby, 24.

Steph was full of praise about how they both had handled the news about their father.

She said: "We’ve been awestruck by the strength and love of our precious girls, even as they’ve been trying to make sense of it all for themselves.

“Our family have also been so supportive and will help us going forward.”

She added: “Although this is difficult for us all, I support Phillip in taking this brave step.”

Meanwhile Phillip said they would "always be a family", but was unsure what the future would look like.

He commented: "It has taken me a long time to get here, I am not rushing to get to any other place.

“We will always be a family. That is the one definite, constant, absolute positive thing. And where the wind blows us I don’t know."
