Mum plans for chaos by stockpiling 18 loo rolls – but kids throw them in bath

Loo roll is like gold dust at the moment.

Toilet paper has been selling fast, with shoppers frantically stockpiling it in case they catch coronavirus and are put into isolation.

This has left supermarket shelves bare – and many have put their items away for safe keeping.

One parent probably wished she’d hidden her bog roll out of reach.

Because unfortunately for her, her kids got at her supplies and threw them all into the bath tub.

This left the paper wet and unable to use… which is a bummer given the current situation.

Ed Cumming, a TV and food journalist, spoke about the toilet roll trouble on Twitter.

He said: “My friend bought 18 loo rolls and her kids put them all in the bath.”

The post racked up 3,900 likes and hundreds of comments – and many found the situation hilarious.

One commenter remarked: “That’s given me a good chuckle, just what is needed at the moment.”

Another said: “You can always rely on children to carry on as normal. Bless them.”

And a third laughed: “Throw some pasta into that and it’d be a sure-fire quarantine kit.”

Others came up with amusing solutions to the problem.

A Twitter user joked: “Hang them on the washing line to dry.

“I’m sure the neighbours will understand what’s happened.”

A second suggested: “Hair dry them.”

And another remarked: “Time to invest in bidets.”
