The Mets’ busy offseason continued on Tuesday morning.
The team agreed to a one-year deal with infielder Jonathan Villar for $3.55 million, The Post’s Joel Sherman reported.
The switch-hitting Villar split last season between the Marlins and Blue Jays, hitting .232 with two home runs, 15 RBIs and 16 stolen bases over 52 games.
The speedy 29-year-old had several strong seasons for the Brewers and Orioles before last year’s struggles in the shortened season.
Villar has spent most of his career playing shortstop and second base, but also has experience at third and in the outfield.
