Love Island's Gemma Owen and Luca Bish were spotted looking tense as they returned home after filming the reunion for the 2022 series.

Pictures of the couple were taken last night after they were leaving the ITV2 set with their co-stars.

The pair looked frosty as neither were seen smiling which hinted at tension between the pair.

The couple were pictured leaving the Love Island reunion recording which was filmed at Elstree Studios.

Gemma and Luca then returned to their hotel last night.

On their way out a photographer said to Luca "you've got your hands full there".

To which Luca replied: "Oh don't mate, she's got the right hump with me!"

Maybe Gemma was unhappy with how the reunion went after some probing questions from host Laura Whitmore.

Things seemed OK with the couple beforehand thought as they were seen posing for the camera in the back of a car together on Gemma's Instagram Stories.

Luca complemented Gemma in the clip that she shared and told fans: "How good does she look with her hair up like that?"

Gemma then giggled and continued to pose for the camera and threw up a peace sign.

In other Love Island news, fans were fuming at how Dami Hope and Indiyah Pollack were the "only ones" left out of the finalists without a blue tick.

Fans stormed to social media to defend the couple and ask why they hadn't been verified on Instagram.

One said: "Why are Dami and Indiyah the only islanders not verified yet? #loveisland"

A second wrote: "The only finalists who aren't verified are Indiyah and Dami, lemme not even get into their followers"

While a third shared: "How come Indiyah and Dami are the only ones not verified yet on Insta it’s giving discrimination"

"Mmm something about Dami and Indiyah not being verified on insta," tweeted a fourth.

A fifth typed: "What’s even crazier is that Luca has more than Indiyah and Dami’s followers COMBINED?"

However, another commented: "You have to apply for it in the app tbh account handlers should’ve sorted that"

But another viewer replied: "You don’t always have to apply – Instagram usually does it themselves for notable figures like islanders, they keep an eye on it!"
