I feel threatened by my masseuse girlfriend giving male clients treatments – The Sun

DEAR DEIDRE: I FEEL threatened by my masseuse girlfriend giving male clients treatments – but I know she will walk away if I keep making an issue of it.

I am a man of 46, divorced after my wife cheated on me.

A few months ago I treated myself to a spa weekend, booked a Thai massage and met an amazing woman.

She is 39. I went back the next weekend and asked her out.

She said yes and we’ve been together ever since.

She now manages a Thai massage shop, working seven days a week, often until late.

Our time together is really limited.

One or two clients have asked for “extras”, which she won’t entertain, and it plays on my mind.

I’ve confronted her and it ends in tears.

DEIDRE SAYS: This is about your insecurity, mainly stemming from your ex-wife cheating, rather than anything your girlfriend is doing wrong.

Ask for loving reassurance – a hug – rather than angrily confronting her.

My e-leaflet Dealing With Jealousy explains more.

But it’s not healthy for her to be working seven long days a week.

Urge her to organise at least one day off and spoil her then.
