A new build house has been surprising Brits – and giving some a good laugh – due to the awkward position of a bus stop outside.
The smart red-brick property in Burton, Staffordshire, costs £175,000, but it’s entrance path is totally blocked by the transport sign.
We suppose it’s easy to catch the bus…
According to bus firm Midland Classic, the sign was there before the homes were built.
A passer-by, David Britton told StaffordshireLive : “It's not exactly wheelchair- or pram-friendly.
"I had to laugh – presumably they're going to move the bus stop sign before anyone moves in."
Would you move into this house? Tell us in the comments…
Luckily, the developer has confirmed the sign will be moved before the first occupants move in.
Staffordshire County Council’s head of highways, James Bailey, said: "We will be speaking to the developer to relocate the bus stop as soon as possible."
And, the funny sign placement had thousands of Reddit users chuckling after a snap was uploaded to the forum.
One commented: “Who needs a bus shelter when you have that wall?”
“Could be a selling point for some people…” added another.
And a third noted: “Good transport links definitely a strong selling point!”
Like what you see? Then fill your boots…

“The effort you'd have to go to to miss the bus if you lived there,” giggled another.
To which someone replied: "Well if you're running out the house to catch the bus in a hurry I guess you could run into the pole and injure yourself enough to not make it to the bus."
Three of the properties in the new Barley Mews development in Stapenhill have sold while three are still for sale.
