If you fancy a cinema-style experience without leaving the comfort of your sofa then Samsung might have just the thing. The Korean firm announced its new ‘The Premiere’ projectors back in September and, after an initial release in the US, these TV-viewing gadgets are now going on sale in the UK.
Instead of having a big 4K TV in your living room, the LSP9T and LSP7T can beam an image straight on your wall up to a size of 130-inches. There’s also some clever laser-powered technology tucked inside which means they are capable of producing a pristine 4K picture.
Another bonus of these devices is that users can place them pretty much anywhere and still get a decent picture quality – they even work when placed in close proximity to a wall.
Both projectors are internet-connected so you can tune into your favourite streaming services and they come pre-installed with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+ and YouTube If you opt for the more expensive LSP9T you’ll get the world’s first HDR10+ certified projector with triple laser technology.
Samsung says this delivers revolutionary contrast details as the user watches from bright to dark scenes with a peak brightness of up to 2,800 ANSI lumens.
If these ‘The Premiere’ projectors take your fancy then they are on sale now at Harrods and on Samsung.com/UK.
You will need a fair amount of cash in the bank with the LSP7T costing £3,999 and the LSP9T priced at £6,999.
Samsung says customers purchasing The Premiere until 19th January 2021, will also be eligible to claim up to £700 cashback.
“Over the past few months, we have seen how consumers are spending more time at home and how the role of everyday life continues to change. TV has become the center of entertainment, a fitness partner, a co-worker and a source for news,” said Jongsuk Chu, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics. “The Premiere re-imagines the home cinema experience with an all-new, compact design, 4K picture quality and big sound for tight spaces that can be used for any at-home activity and living room arrangements.”
