Tributes have poured in for actor Tony Selby, who is best known for his roles in Doctor Who, EastEnders and My Family.
The actor died aged 83 in London on Sunday, his management have confirmed.
In a statement released on Monday, they said on Twitter: "With great sadness we announce that actor Tony Selby passed away peacefully in London yesterday.
"In a career spanning 70 years in theatre, film and TV, Tony was highly respected and loved by family, friends and colleagues.
"His renowned sense of humour will be missed by us all."
Tony's longest role was as Corporal Percy Marsh in the RAF comedy Get Some In!, spending three years on the set from 1975 to 1978.
He also appeared as Susan Harper's long lost father in My Family, while also appearing in EastEnders as Clive Mitchell, the uncle of Phil, Grant and Sam.
Tony played Glitz in Doctor Who from 1986 to 1987, featuring in nine episodes across the court of the series.
He appeared in EastEnders back in 2002 as Uncle Clive for just two episodes as he attended Louise Mitchell's naming party where her name was changed from Fowler to Mitchell.
Uncle Clive and Elaine Mitchell appeared together in the early noughties, though they haven't returned to the screen since.
But it certainly wasn't the last acting credit for Tony, who has appeared in a wide range of different shows over the years.
While most of his acting credits sit firmly in the 60s and 70s, Tony still featured in films and TV shows elsewhere, with his last credited film named as Cockneys vs Zombies.
The comedy horror/thriller movie made $109,000 USD in the box office and has since landed on Netflix for people to watch from the comfort of their own homes.
Taking to Twitter, people shared their tributes to the actor, with one person writing: "So sorry to hear this. I loved watching him. He was terrific."
Another person said: "RIP Tony Selby, Glitz has headed home."
A third person wrote: "RIP Tony, great actor."
