Prime Minister Boris Johnson's wife Carrie Simmonds has become somewhat of a fashion influencer as it was revealed after tying the knot with her husband Borris Johnson that she sported a rental dress for the small ceremony.
Wearing a bohemian-inspired white number, Carrie's effortless embroidered tulle gown only cost her a reported £45 down from the original £3,000 price tag.
How do you ask? Well she rented the gorgeous Christos Costarellos gown from fashion rental service My Wardrobe HQ.
It seems that she isn't slowing down on renting her wardrobe either as whilst attending the G7 Summit in Cornwall, Carrie opted to rent another two fabulous looks for the important occasion.
Battling the windy beach of Carbis Bay, before attending the G7 Summit, Carrie stepped out for the first time since their wedding in a stunning summer-inspired yellow dress.
The Alice Early button up mustard needlecord dress cost just £8 to rent from My Wardrobe HQ, leading many to wonder why they haven't started renting designer pieces sooner.
The dress costs £265 to buy outright, but it's clear people would much rather rent it for a fraction of the price if they can.

Carrie looked stunning in the yellow number, however, on Friday the couple took another walk along the wooden path to meet President Biden and First Lady Jo Biden ahead of the Summit and Carrie wowed once again.
This time the 33 year old went for a bold pleated dress and it could be argued that she definitely stole the show from her husband.

Wearing a wonderful pink pleated dress by designer Roksanda, Carrie glowed in another number from a different rental fashion service named Hurr.
The dress retails for a whopping £1,395 and once again Carrie showed off her savvy shopping tip by bagging it for only £107.
Shoppers went crazy for her bridal look and it sold out in minutes. There's no doubt that these two dresses will follow in it's footsteps.
So why not take a leaf out of Carrie's style book and next time you need a fancy dress for an event opt to rent a statement piece.
