Everyone knows that pigs in blankets are a big food favourite during the festive season.
And Asda seems to have jumped on this by offering fans of the Christmas treat a new alternative.
According to popular Instagram account @newfoodsuk, the supermarket is now selling pigs in blankets flavour battered chicken nuggets.
And the news has certainly left people baffled.
The account shared a photo of the nuggets online, as it wrote: "Limited Edition Pigs In Blankets Flavour Nuggets now available at Asda!"
And people couldn't help but comment with their disdain for the new product.
One person asked: "Why would you want sausage and bacon tasting chicken nuggets?"
While another probed: "Am I missing something… wouldn't you have pigs in blankets OR chicken nuggets… there is no need for this confusion in life lol!!!!"
A third added: "Oh grim," as a fourth simply said: "So confused."
Meanwhile a fifth chimed in: "Next there will be pizza flavour cheese burgers."
Despite the backlash, the post still racked up thousands of likes as some said they'd liked the sound of them.
One person commented: "Amazing – perfect for Christmas buffets."
It seems like Asda is loving the alternative pigs in blankets products this year, as it is also selling pigs in blankets flavour peanuts online.
Don't let your dog miss out either, as it's offering pigs in blankets dog treats too.
Sainsbury's is also jumping on the alternative pigs in blankets products too, as it was announced this week it's launching pigs in blankets sushi.
We may need these different options though as Brits were warned back in August there could be a pigs in blankets shortage this year.
