  • HE'S WANDA-FUL

Alexandre Lacazette is being tracked by Atletico Madrid, according to reports in Spain.

Atleti are looking to score more goals, despite having one of the fiercest defences in Europe.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the LaLiga side have been monitoring his situation closely.

He was high on Diego Simeone's wish list in January but Atleti decided to focus on signing Edinson Cavani instead, a deal which never materialised.

  • LAST TANGO

Arsenal are reportedly still confident of landing Paris Saint-Germain full-back Layvin Kurzawa on a free transfer.

The Gunners were strongly linked with a move for the Frenchman in January but a move never materialised, with Mikel Arteta instead bringing in Pablo Mari and Cedric Soares to add defensive reinforcements.

However, the 27-year-old's contract with PSG expires in the summer and is unlikely to stay at the club after falling behind Juan Bernat in the pecking order.

And France Football claim Arsenal are still monitoring his progress and would be willing to sign him as a free agent when the season ends.

The French magazine state that the north London club “aren’t letting go of the situation” and are still “actively following” the defender.

  • RAM LOCKDOWN

Aaron Ramsey could be out of Wales' friendlies because of Italy's coronavirus lockdown.

The former Arsenal midfielder is in his first season at Juventus and scored in their 2-0 win over Inter Milan last weekend.

According to the BBC, the FAW will be guided on Italian authorities regarding coronavirus, which could see the 29-year-old miss Wales' games against Austria and USA.

  • WING AND PRAYER

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has told winger Nicolas Pepe to go back to school after his dip in form.

The Gunners chief said: “I’ll show him footage of what we want and on the training ground I will make him defend in situations where he is full-back and I am the winger.

“You have to feel the moment when the ball is here where you are weak and depending on the step that you take, how that effects the opponent every time, where the spaces are for the strikers, where the strikers want the ball in certain areas, it’s a process.

    “It’s part of his development.

“He needs to open more doors to be more unpredictable for the opponent and give more options as well offensively to us.”

  • MARI-AGE OF CONVENIENCE

Pablo Mari has revealed he wants to stay at Arsenal.

The 26-year-old defender is currently on loan from Flamengo.

He said: “I am so happy here. I am going to try and do my best until the end of the season.

“I hope also the club is happy with me and then we are going to find a good end (of the season) for everybody.

“I want to play a lot of years here with Arsenal. It is another situation and I am really happy now.”
