Lorraine: Ralf Little says he had a 'debate' with girlfriend
Death in Paradise actor Ralf Little, 41, has revealed he was scolded by the BBC drama series’ bosses for flying to Sint Maarten/ Saint-Martin to meet up with his fiancee Lindsey Ferrentino. The DI Neville Parker star had been filming series 10 of the programme in Guadeloupe since last July.
As a result, he didn’t get much of a chance to spend quality time with his partner, as she is based in New York.
Ralf opted to take the opportunity to reunite with Lindsey during a break from filming.
The couple flew to Sint Maarten/ Saint-Martin because Ralf had been staying in an overseas French department, and the island is also half-French.
Lindsey was also able to travel there because the other half of the island is a Dutch territory and the US had an air bridge with the Netherlands at the time.

Explaining the situation, Ralf said: “We were able to meet in the middle and have a week’s holiday together.”
However, the pair’s romantic meeting wasn’t received very well by Death in Paradise’s producers.
The actor divulged: “I got told off. [Producers told me I’d] made a mistake.
“[I said] ‘Yes, I’m aware of this’.”
Ralf has since travelled to New York to see his other half after he finished filming the BBC series.
In spite of this, the star insisted he prefers working to taking holidays.
He added: “Oh, let’s be clear: if another acting gig comes along, I ain’t going to America!
“I love working. I’m not really bothered about holidays.”

Ralf and Lindsey had been planning on tying the knot soon, but this has been delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
When quizzed on their wedding date, Ralf admitted to the Telegraph Magazine: “Who knows?
“When the world has some sense of normality and I’m not stuck in the Caribbean for five months?”
Ralf previously discussed working on Death in Paradise with his former co-star Will Mellor, 44.
When quizzed about filming in the heat, Ralf said: “There’s swings and roundabouts and everything, but I’m doing a job I love doing.
“It’s hard work out here, but every day I get up and go do a job and then I get to sort of chill out.
“I miss the other half but other than that I’ve not really got anything else to go home for.”
Will then asked if Ralf had managed to meet up with his wife-to-be during filming on set.
“We had a week off in the middle of a shoot,” he explained, adding their reunion was over a month ago.
