Line Of Duty star Adrian Dunbar looked every inch the doting grandfather as he cradled his granddaughter in his arms.
The 63 year old's daughter Madeleine gave birth to her first child in December, and on Saturday 22 January, the new mum took to her Instagram platform to share sweet snaps of her father and daughter together.
Adrian, who plays Superintendent Ted Hastings on the BBC police drama, proudly held little Zephyr in his arms as she slept while wearing an AC-12 outfit.
"Zephyr repping her Grandpop," Madeleine wrote in the caption, which saw the youngster's clothes also feature the words "undercover officer".
Adrian's Line Of Duty co-star Vicky McClure couldn't resist commenting on the snaps, as she wrote: "Aww adorable pics!! xxx."
A fan added: "Very proud Grandad and what a gorgeous girl!!!."
Someone else wrote: "Awww. They look so cute together" while a third added: "This may be the cutest thing i've ever seen!!"
A fourth wrote: "This has to be my pic of the day. Grandpa Adrian."
Singer-songwriter Madeleine, 34, announced the birth of her daughter in a post on Instagram in December.
The talented musician shared candid photos of her in hospital and snaps of her holding her newborn baby. She captioned her photos with: "Woooooow only just home from the hospital.. (some of you had started to message me to see if I was ok) thank you."
Madeleine continued: "We went in on Monday night and Wednesday we did a baby!! (with no sleep in between!) A perfectly cooked 8lb girly with strong lungs and hyper awareness."
The singer added: "Thank you to my handsome boy Callum for helping me make a gorgeous girl and thank you for supporting me through this absolute gory horror story of birth. Only you BB."
She is set to marry her fiancé, a roofer named Callum, and she hilariously revealed the engagement was online before her dad found out.
She told MailOnline of his reaction: "He said, Of course, I'm delighted. My baby daughter's getting married!"
Line of Duty, where Adrian plays the popular copper Ted Hastings, was the most-watched drama of last year and the whole 21st Century.
A new series of the Jed Mercurio police drama has been confirmed. But, viewers may have to wait a few years for the seventh series to commence.
