Fetty Wap’s four year old daughter Lauren has died, with her mother confirming the news by sharing an Instagram post in her memory.

Lauren’s mother, Turquoise Miami, shared her daughter with 30 year old rapper Fetty, who is best known for his hit songs Trap Queen and Come My Way.

Unconfirmed reports of Lauren's death began circulating last month but the devastating news wasn't confirmed until Turquoise posted the video on her Instagram account this weekend.

The video showed Lauren smiling in a pool, with the caption: “This is my amazing, beautiful, funny, vibrant, loving, talented, smart and hardheaded princess mermaid Aquarius.

“If you see this post scrolling by with her comment or just say to yourself 'I love you LAUREN' because they say that souls can feel your love #rip," she continued.

Turquoise did not specify when or how Lauren passed away.

Fetty himself appeared to pay tribute to his daughter last month as he shared a social media update following a performance at Miami’s Rolling Loud Festival.

Posting to his Instagram story, he wrote: "LoLo daddy did that s**t for you last night baby girl." The caption also included butterfly, heart and dove emojis.

He then shared a video of himself singing his track Come My Way with “Listen LoLo” written across the screen.

Fetty, real name Willie Maxwell II, has never publicly confirmed how many children he has but Lauren is believed to be the fifth child of six that he shares with five mothers.

The Grammy-nominated artist also lost his brother in October of last year as he was shot and killed in New Jersey.

Posting the day after the shooting, the rapper shared a photo of himself and his brother Twyshon Depew together.

He captioned the snap: “I love you lil bro my twin … R.I.P… I failed you bro I’m sorry.

“I keep calling ya phone and you won’t pick tf up and that s**t never ring 3 times now it’s straight to vm I love you lil bro I really thought I could get you out before I ever had to make a post like this lil bro like wtf."
