Dani Dyer is reportedly facing a visit from the police, who are attempting to confiscate £34,000 of Sammy Kimmence's assets to pay for his crimes.

The Love Island star split from Sammy last week after he was sentenced to 3.5 years in jail for "despicably" scamming two pensioners out of almost £34,000 by posing as a financial advisor.

And it may be difficult for the former Love Island star, who shares baby son Santiago with Sammy, to move on as The Sun have reported that she may be paid a visit from law enforcement.

The publication reports that detectives trained in financial forensics will visit Dani and her ex Sammy's home to make an inventory of his assets in order to raise the funds he conned out of his unassuming victims.

A source said: "He will be facing even more jail time if there's evidence that assets have been hidden or sold since he was arrested with the intention of preserving their value for his own ends.

"He has intimated in the past that he wishes to pay back the money he stole, but if the court is not satisfied with how and when this will be done, the police will be instructed to make a visit to his home with the intention of seizing assets."

Items such as cars, jewellery, and designer clothes are said to be eligible to be auctioned off to raise the cash.

OK! has contacted representatives for Dani for further comment.

The publication also reports that a confiscation hearing will be heard next month, where Sammy's legal team are expected to provide details on how he intends to reimburse his victims.

Meanwhile, it's been said that Dani was "distraught" by Sammy's sentencing after he "lied to her about his crimes" before being sent to prison.

A source told MailOnline: "She is absolutely floored by what's happened with Sammy. She knows she has to make massive changes in her life, and she's so distraught.

"All she knows is that her baby boy Santiago is the only thing that matters now, and she is trying to work out how best to look after him as a single parent."

The insider continued: "She needs time to think it through. Sammy completely downplayed the court case every step of the way.

Sammy's sentencing came after Portsmouth Crown Court heard how his actions left an RAF veteran "living on the breadline".
