BBC Breakfast star Dan Walker was announced as the eighth contestant on Strictly Come Dancing earlier this month. The celebrities taking part are currently getting their practise in before the launch show airs next month.
Standing in a dressing room behind-the-scenes today, the 44-year-old presenter shared pictures of himself in a tight bodysuit.
In one picture, he was seen sporting a figure-hugging lycra suit with purple socks.
The father-of-three posed with his hands on his waist as he smiled for the camera.
A further picture shows the presenter in the same outfit, with added flared trousers.
Dan shared the snaps with his 722,000 followers, revealing he had no idea what his clothing items were called.
He commented: “How have I got to this point in my life without knowing that there are shirts which attach to shorts?
“What are they even called? *2nd photo includes trousers*.
“Day 1 of #Strictly was a sparkly delight.”
Fans of the host flocked to his post to share their thoughts.
One wrote: “That’s called a bodysuit. Looks good on you.”
A second commented: “When do you get the spray tan!”
A third added: “Dapper Dan – can’t wait to see you dancing.”
Another joked that his rival Piers Morgan would be “jealous” of his look.

The latter couldn’t resist taking a swipe at his former BBC rival following the news he was a contestant on the show.
Strictly Come Dancing shared the news that Dan had signed up to the show, on their Twitter page.
They wrote: “We cannot wait to see @mrdanwalker swap @BBCBreakfast for the #Strictly ballroom!”
In response to this, Piers commented: “My Christmas just came early.”
Dan announced he was taking part on Strictly on BBC Breakfast earlier this month, leaving his co-star Louise Minchin stunned.
At the time, he was away from his presenting duties and enjoying a family holiday with his wife and three children.
The presenter will face competition on the dance floor against the like of Tom Fletcher, Judi Love, Katie McGlynn and Sara Davies.
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One next month.
