Coronation Street’s Ruxandra Porojnicu joked she was tempted to change her name on the delivery to boxer Connor McGregor, so that people may think twice before stealing her belongings. The Alina Pop actress ranted about the theft, in view of her 56,000 followers today.
Taking to her Instagram Story, the 28-year-old shared a picture of a house plant alongside the caption: “When you live in a block of flats where people are stealing parcels… why?!”
She went on to say: “I hope those clothes are tight a f* for whoever got them xx.”(sic)
“Also, I’ll change my name on the delivery to Connor McGregor,” the soap star concluded.
Ruxandra is believed to be living in Manchester, where she films for the ITV soap.
The actress has been playing nail technician Alina since 2019.
Her alter ego is currently dating mechanic Tyrone Dobbs (played by Alan Halsall).
Earlier this month, the pair were left devastated after she miscarried their baby.
Their loss happened as she recovered from a fire in her flat, which she had blamed herself for.
Investigators initially determined that a lit candle was to blame for the blaze.
Viewers and Tyrone, however, know that Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan) is the culprit who started the fire.
Hope is the daughter of Tyrone’s ex-partner Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine), who he has raised as his own.
At the weekend, Ruxandra enjoyed a meal and drinks with her co-stars, which sparked rumours she could be leaving.

The actress beamed for the camera alongside Alan, Jennie and Alexandra Mardell, who plays Alina’s flatmate Emma Brooker.
She was later joined by co-stars Sair Khan and Charlotte Jordan.
She commented: “This week has been such a lovely one!! And it’s all thanks to the wonderful people I spent time with.
“I wish I had a pic with each of you but you know who you are. Thank you!”
Some fans speculated that her post could potentially mean she is leaving the soap.
One commented: “I hope I am wrong Ruxandra but you have been out with a few different colleagues recently and it looks like they are leaving parties.
“I don’t expect a reply but I really hope you are staying put for a while longer.”
A second echoed: “I thought the exact same thing. Suspicious Face with tongue I hope not, that would be sad.”
