BTS have made history as they’ve become the first K-pop band to be nominated in a major category at the Grammy Awards.
Fans of the seven-piece boyband – made up of Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, RM, Jin, V and Jungkook – were left outraged last year when BTS found themselves snubbed by the Recording Academy ahead of the 2020 Grammy Awards.
The Army were left frustrated and argued BTS ‘deserved better’ and it sounds like their calls have now been answered.
As the nominations ahead of the 2021 Grammys dropped on Tuesday, it was revealed that BTS have been nominated in the category for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for their track Dynamite.
BTS shared their reaction in a video they posted to Twitter and the sheer shock on their faces is just a joy to watch.
Lost for words over their history-making nomination, the boys tweeted: ‘Ohmmmmmmyyyyyyyyggghghhhhhhhgggggggggdhdhsjsixudbslsogbdsisgshdbxidjdbdidhdifjfiri #GRAMMYs#BTS
