Ben Affleck admits he’s enjoying ‘very happy time’ with Jennifer Lopez

Ben Affleck is absolutely loving life right now and admitted he’s enjoying a ‘very happy time’ after confirming his romance with Jennifer Lopez.

The Batman actor went public with the Love Don’t Cost A Thing singer last month after resuming their romance from 17 years ago.

They’ve become almost as inseparable as loved-up couples like Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, so it’s no wonder Ben has very little to complain about these days.

Speaking to Extra, Ben shared a brief insight into his personal life before expertly deflecting the attention back to his current movie projects.

‘I’m very happy. It is a very happy time in my life. Life is good. I love [Tender Bar], and The Last Duel, October 15, which I am really proud of,’ he teased.

‘It’s a time in my career that is surprisingly kind of fruitful… I kind of lucked into this… Very grateful, so yes, I am happy.’

OK, so he’s got a point – the 49-year-old appears to be busier than ever promoting two movies simultaneously while also reprising his role as Batman in The Flash, and filming his next movie, Hypnotic, in Texas. He also has at least another three projects in the pipeline.

But back to Bennifer, the couple are evidently smitten after making their red carpet debut at the Venice Film Festival in September. The pair posed together for photos before giving photographers the money shot when they shared kisses.

Ben recently praised girlfriend Jennifer, 52, and her work ethic, telling AdWeek that he was ‘in awe’ of the actress’ ‘effect on the world’.

‘At most, as an artist, I can make movies that move people. Jennifer has inspired a massive group of people to feel they have a seat at the table in this country,’ he said.

‘That is an effect few people throughout history have had, one I will never know and one I can only stand by and admire with respect.’

The couple first began dating in 2000 and got engaged two years later. However, they dramatically called off their wedding just days before it was due to take place blaming media intrusion throughout the preparations. Their split was announced months later.
