Alison Hammond soaks up the sun in leopard print swimsuit in pool snaps from Dubai holiday

Alison Hammond delightedly twirls around a stunning swimming pool in a leopard print swimsuit in a video from her enviable Dubai holiday.

The This Morning presenter looked relaxed and happy as she visited Aura Skypool on Dubai’s famous Palm Jumeirah island.

The 360 degree infinity pool sits 50 floors high in the sky and Alison showed off the jaw-dropping panoramic views to her Instagram followers.

In a video posted to Instagram, the 47 year old smiled into the camera as she sipped on a pink cocktail, before it cuts to clips of her spinning around in the pool and smiling as she soaked up the sunshine.

When she wasn’t in the pool, Alison covered up in a brightly coloured kaftan which matched her lipstick to perfectly.

Her hair was swept back from her face and she rocked chunky gold earrings to complete the look.

Captioning the video, she wrote: “Self care and self love is me right now.”

She also posted a pic to her Instagram grid, writing: “Give me that Vitamin D.”

The video and photo earned Alison plenty of praise from her Instagram followers, including some of her celebrity friends.

Her This Morning colleague Vanessa Feltz wrote: “Wowzer! Looking sensational!”

Another This Morning colleague, Alison's BFF Josie Gibson, wrote: “Good people deserve good things. Have a beautiful time Hammando.”

Singers Pixie Lott and Jamelia both left heart-eyed emojis on the video post.

Alison also took time out to visit the Dubai desert during her trip, posting a photo to her Instagram stories sat in a bright red open-topped vehicle.

She wore a zebra print dress and held a matching umbrella to shield her eyes from the bright sunshine.

Alison recently opened up to Lorraine Kelly and her daughter Rosie Smith on the What If? podcast about her struggles with weight and her outlook on life, saying that while she may “die a little bit sooner” she is “living life to the fullest”.

She said: "They do say television puts on a bit of weight though, doesn't it? Sometimes I look at myself and go, 'Wow, I am a big girl.' But I like taking up a bit of space, I'm OK with it.

"I take a little bit of extra space in the world and I don't think I'm hurting anyone.

She continued: “None of us are getting out of this. We're all going to die eventually. I might die a little bit sooner, but I'm going to live my life to the fullest. And if I do die sooner, I'm going to have a fantastic life. I'm going to have a wonderful life. I'm 47 now, I don't know how long I'm going to go on for.

"We're all going to die eventually, but I'm going to enjoy my life. I'm going to eat nice food. I'm going to try to eat a little bit healthier, because sometimes my knees do hurt. So I will try my very best.”
