THEY wanted to create a gorgeous bedroom that their 10-month-old daughter would love being in.
But after parents Kaitlyn and Abdullah Gborigi-Jose shared a look at the room in an Instagram reel, everyone said the same thing about one of the accessories they'd chosen.
"Things in our 10 month old’s room that just make sense for us," they wrote in their video.
They then shared a look at the "floor bed, height appropriate mirror, Montessori style toy shelf and balloon" that they'd put in daughter Samara's room.
But it was the balloon that caused the most controversy in the post.
Despite Kaitlyn adding in the caption that Samara "just love balloons", and it's "a great distraction during diaper changes when she can’t stay still", people in the comments section were quick to flag the danger of the string.

"Not hating because all great ideas and a beautiful happy looking girl BUT please be careful with the string on the balloon," one person wrote.
"I read an article where an 8month old had one tied to her bed and unfortunately got tangled up and suffocated in the length of a short nap period."
"yes the ballon and string is dangerous," another commented.
But Kaitlyn replied that they tie the balloon up during "nap time and bedtime" .

"Remove the balloon, strangulation and choking hazard," someone else commented.
"Since this is her bedroom and play room, the balloon is out during play time and wrapped up during naps and bedtime," Kaitlyn answered.

"A balloon- don’t think so," another person added.
Others were more complimentary about the room set up, with one writing: "LOVE THIS SO MUCH!! Excellent ideas."
