Kate Middleton has been part of the Royal Family since her wedding to Prince William in 2011. To celebrate their marriage, Kate received a thoughtful and personal gift from Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

On her wedding day, the Duchess of Cambridge accessories with sentimental pieces of jewellery.

She borrowed the Cartier Halo tiara from Queen Elizabeth II and wore a pair of drop diamond earrings from her parents.

The royal was given another impressive piece of jewellery from her mother-in-law Camilla.

Camilla gave Kate a stunning gold chain bracelet for the occasion.

The Duchess of Cambridge was first spotted wearing it just a few months after the wedding.

The simple jewel also appeared to be personalised by Camilla, Managing Director of jeweller William May Nick Withington explained.

He said: “Camilla is thought to have presented the bracelet to Kate as a wedding gift.

“She was first pictured wearing the bracelet in June 2011, two months after her wedding to Prince William.”

The timeless bracelet consists of a gold chain with a circular charm hanging from it.

On closer inspection, the personalisation from Camilla can be seen.

The charm is engraved with a crown and two ‘C’s which seem to relate the names of the royals.

Nick continued: “The bracelet is a classic chunky curved link with an engraved disc charm.

“Double sided, the disc is engraved with a ‘C’ for Catherine and a coronet and the reverse side a ‘C’ for Camilla and a crown.”

The Duchess of Cambridge has worn the bracelet to multiple events since her wedding.

It is unlikely the mother-of-three would ever part with the piece due to its sentimental value.

If it was to be sold, however, Nick explained it could fetch a huge sum of money.

“[It is] a timeless classic that is on-trend for today,” he concluded.

“It’s approximate current valuation is £2,995.”

Kate was also given jewellery from Prince Charles after her big day.

The Prince of Wales reportedly had a diamond jewellery set custom-made for Kate.

It consisted of a bracelet, necklace and ring and has been valued at around £60,000.
